Expressing an Opinion-1

I'm not on the same page as those who oppose using the death penalty as a form of criminal punishment.  Although many people insist that using the death penalty is cruel, I strongly believe that the punishment can decrease the crime rate because by doing that, those who are going to commit crimes will stop to think before they do illegal things.  In addition, no one can argue against the fact that if we punish the criminals by using the death penalty, the victims won't worry that the criminals will hurt them again.  Moreover, too many criminals will commit the same crimes because thay think that what they did will not threaten their lives.  Consequently, it's for all the above-mentioned reasons that I believe we should use the death penalty as a form of criminal punishment.
